Aboriginal Dolls
I was approached by Axis Toys a little while ago to help design the features on some Aboriginal dolls.
Most “Aboriginal” dolls on the market are actually rebranded African or African American dolls.
I chose the colour, facial features, eyes, hair (I wanted hair that can be played with and styled by the kids, not the usual Afro you see on a lot of the African based dolls), basically everything for them to take away for Miniland Dolls to create and bring to life.
Turned out pretty deadly I reckon.
These dolls have currently sold out however we will restock in October, you can pre-purchase on our website or take advantage of the layby system we have in place by messaging the page or emailing accounts@garrypurchase.com.au

These dolls are not Australian Made however we can confirm consultation with the Aboriginal Community and those involved have been fairly remunerated.
