Artwork Story
A few years ago I painted a piece called “Yarra”. I spoke of my childhood memories and pride of having my own children’s feet touch the sand on that beach the same as myself, my mother and our ancestors had done for thousands of years.... but now there’s been a twist. They could quite possibly be the final generation of my family to do so. It saddens me beyond belief that it looks like being destroyed by a proposed cruise terminal now. If it goes, it’s gone forever.... No amount of money can buy that.
